Liahona

My family of six and our journey into healthy traditional foods- the ups and downs and inbetweens.

Why Liahona?

By Erin

I thought I would share with you why I titled my blog Liahona. The Liahona is a name for a special compass in my religion. Not just any compass, but one that only works if you are following the right path. I felt that this was a good symbol to use in my “nourishing” journey. As I make right choices for my family’s health, we will be blessed and see healing progress. If I do not make right choices, our progression will stop. I hope it helps me stay focused on doing what I know is right and good, and keep me from getting distracted by the not so good.

  1. Hi! I thought this word was interesting so I looked it up further and it is…how many of us ‘don’t’ need a compass?! Especially one that designates the ‘right path.’
